More to come later, but I at least wanted to post my results here since I ran with a last minute new chip/number that hasn’t been registered to my name :). I’m currently listed in the results as “Unknown” π But, more to come later once I’ve had time to digest. I’m sure it’ll be…

Gustavus Alumni 5k – 18:35, 1st place
Today’s GAC alumni XC race went SO well. This training cycle for TCM has been really rocky. I’ve put in the miles, done the hard workouts that Jerry has written, but had no idea where that left me given the numerous workouts that I struggled through. Today I won the GAC alumni 5k in 18:35…
What a busy time…
Unbelievable how things tend to all happen at once. First, it’s budgeting season at Red Wing Shoes. I present to the President and CFO on the 21st and 22nd of this month. I’ll present budgets for Europe, Japan, North America for 3 different brands. At the same time I’ll give recommendations on how to change…

Runnin’ on Empty
Wow, I’m exhausted. I’m trying to recall, but I think there have been just 2 days in the last 3 weeks where I’ve slept 8 hours. Otherwise, I’ve been getting around 6-6.5, and I can totally tell… I’m not working as quickly at work (just can’t concentrate very well) and I’m easily upset and stressed….

Holy Humidity
I’ve been pretty lucky this summer with weather. I think this is the first weekend that has made for difficult training. Todayβs workout was brutal. 20 miles with 10 at marathon pace. The first 10 were great β 7:45-8:00 pace is nice!!. I picked up Lis, one of the skiers that was having boot trouble…
Hey Nichole! How's it going? I just came across your blog. Well done on your 11th place. I look forward to reading more about your training and successes π
I, too, just discovered your blog and look forward to reading more. I ran the marathon at Grandma's as well but was no where close to your time! I did, however, cut 15 minutes off my PR, so I was happy about that!
